What are the areas of application for starch and cellulose?

Starch:
1. It is used by mother nature. It accumulates in tubers, grains, seeds of plants, and then is used as a source of reserve nutrition.
2. Food. For humans and animals, this is a fairly common carbohydrate. Wheat, rice, potatoes, corn all contain starch.

2. Production: fabrics (cotton is up to 99% cellulose), artificial fibers (viscose, acetate fiber, artificial fur). Wood pulp is used for the production of: paper, plastics, smokeless powder.
