What are the belligerents and what are the goals of the parties (were in the Peloponnesian war)?

The Peloponnesian War was fought to gain dominion over all of Greece. The main operating policies were, on the one hand, Sparta and his allies, and on the other, Athens and other Ionian policies. The former had the advantage on land, since the Spartans had a stronger army. And the Athenians had a powerful fleet. The war lasted almost 30 years with varying success, but in the end Sparta won an unconditional victory. Before the war, Athens was the most prosperous city in the Mediterranean, with which Sparta could not reconcile.
