What are the causes of mutations?

Mutations are fairly common. It depends on genetics, or rather on a failure in the genetic code. This is how defects appear in human and animal children. We can see many mutations. From the harmless sixth finger on the hand to the more dangerous one – repetition or absence of organs or important parts of the body. All this happens exclusively in the process of fetal formation. There are erroneous opinions that the mutation is caused by radiation, GMOs, telephone communications and the like. Mutations appear due to improper harmful behavior: smoking, drugs, alcohol during pregnancy and before pregnancy. Or due to a genetic malfunction or the inheritance of “bad” genes from ancestors with health problems.
