What are the cerebral hemispheres responsible for?

The left hemisphere is responsible for: performing logical actions, data analysis, analytical thinking, the ability to speak, the ability to understand words and actions, read and distinguish symbols, write, remember information, control the right half of the body.
The right hemisphere is responsible for: the perception of non-verbal information, intuition, orientation in space and in the locality, musicality, understanding not only the literal meaning but also metaphors, imagination, emotions, parallel perception and processing of information, control over the left side of the body.
