Simple inorganic substances are substances that have atoms in their structure, only one chemical element: H2; O2; O3.
Complex inorganic substances are compounds of substances that have atoms in their structure, different chemical elements: H2O – water, there is a hydrogen and oxygen atom; Н3РО4 – orthophosphoric acid, there are atoms of hydrogen, oxygen and phosphorus; HCl – hydrochloric acid, hydrogen chloride, there is a hydrogen and chlorine atom. So any inorganic compound that contains at least two different atoms will be a complex substance.
