What are the differences between daytime and nocturnal birds of prey?

The lifestyle of day and nocturnal birds is different. It is because of him that they received such names. Daytime birds lead an active lifestyle mainly during the day, and nocturnal ones – at night. Nocturnal birds have larger eyes than diurnal birds. The pupils of nocturnal birds are able to narrow significantly, not letting in too harsh daylight. Day birds do not have such a feature. Daytime birds usually hunt down prey from a great height, and nocturnal birds fly low above the ground. Nocturnal birds are more sensitive to hearing than diurnal birds.
