What are the differences between historical maps and hemisphere maps?

The hemisphere map usually shows the present state of our planet and the outlines of states. But, a historical map is a historical map – this is an image of our history, the past, as well as the outlines of states in different time periods, their borders, for example, in such a century and depict the past time on it, and not the present. The historical map shows the directions of movement of troops, for example, a prince, in any war, naval battles – the directions of movement of ships, the location of military units on land and sea, various great trade routes in the past. The hemisphere map is made for schools. Here, mountains, seas and oceans, plains, deserts, continents, islands, straits are given for study and there are no historical events on it.
