What are the differences in the position of patricians and plebeians in Rome?

The plebeians did not have the right to participate, for example, in elections, since they were free settlers, in contrast to the patricians – the indigenous Romans, who had more rights.

The patricians had a high position in society, held major leadership positions, and had many land holdings and wealth. Plebeians can be characterized as poor people who did not have the right to participate in elections and popular meetings. The plebeians were completely dependent on the patrician court.
