What are the different points of view on the reasons for the emergence of the state?

Theories of the origin of the state:

1) Creation – the state is a product of Divine creation;

2) Patriarchal – the state grew out of a large family;

3) The theory of violence – the state arose as a result of the subordination of some tribes to others;

4) Contractual – the state arose as a result of an agreement of people, one part of whom agreed to give up their freedom in order to have protection;

5) Psychological – the state arose as a result of the need for unification among people.
