What are the distinctive features of the doctrine of the salvation of the soul of the Lutheran Church?

The problem of the salvation of the Christian soul is revealed by Martin Luther in the doctrine of justification by faith alone. According to this doctrine, the believer is saved exclusively by faith in the righteousness of Christ and his own justification by that righteousness. Attempts, with the help of a virtuous life, to achieve the afterlife bliss do not give the believer the opportunity to come to the highest, divine justice. Virtue, however, following faith is an indicator that faith justifies the believer.
