The zone of arctic deserts is badly affected by human activities and natural factors, as a result of which environmental problems arise:
climate warming leading to ice melting;
overfishing and poaching;
reduction in the number of animals and birds;
air and water pollution with oil products, toxic substances;
changes in the habitat of various organisms in the Arctic.
