What are the features of the currents of Antarctica?

The Antarctic current is the only “round the world” current in the world, that is, it goes around the Earth at 40-50 degrees S. In addition, it is the most powerful because of the strong winds. It goes around Antarctica, carries mostly cold water (from 1 to 12 degrees Celsius). Because of this current and frequent storms, until the 19th century, ships practically could not overcome these latitudes. It flows through four oceans (Antarctic, Pacific, Indian and Atlantic).
