What are the features of the external structure of insects?

In adulthood, the body of insects consists of the following parts: the head, antennae, eyes, mouth and parts of the mouth, the chest with paws and wings, the abdomen, which carries the reproductive organs. Apart from vertebrates such as birds and bats, insects are the only animals to have wings, although some have lost them through evolution.
All adult insects have three pairs of paws and a pair of antennae. While insects usually have three pairs of legs and two pairs of wings, there are different types of wings. In addition, some insects have one pair of wings (flies, mosquitoes), while others have lost them again, such as termites, fleas or worker ants.
