What are the features of the ocean floor topography?

The bottom topography of the oceans is not flat, like the surface of the earth. There is a wide mountain range in the oceans. These chains are called (Mid-Ocean Ridges). They are formed in the case of interaction of magma (lava), and the water that is in the ocean. They touch and a cooling reaction occurs. The very height of the ridges often exceeds 2 km above sea level, and some even above sea level. Iceland is an example of this.
