The Socialist-Revolutionary Party relied for support mostly on the peasantry than on the proletariat, one of its slogans was “Land and Freedom” – that is, allotment of land to peasants and granting freedom to citizens of the country. In their tactics, the Social Revolutionaries preferred individual terror (known for many attempts on the life of major statesmen).
