What are the functions of nature reserves and national parks?

Reserves and national parks are areas of the territory where plants, animals and natural objects are under state protection. In these areas, hunting is either completely banned, or is carried out under the strict supervision of specialists, which helps small species of wild animals to restore the population. Thanks to these organizations, it becomes possible to fight against poachers, who often kill rare species of animals for the sake of obtaining fur, horns, bones, feathers, etc.
