The atmosphere is composed of five layers.
1. Troposphere – our weather takes place in it. It rises to a height of 6 – 20 kilometers.
2. Stratosphere is a layer in which airplanes and balloons fly, from 20 to 50 kilometers.
3. Mesosphere – located 50 – 80 kilometers about the earth.
4. Thermosphere – the temperature reaches + 2000 s.
5. The exosphere is the outer edge of the atmosphere that borders on space.
