What are the living conditions in the soil environment?

The soil, at first glance, seems to be poorly adapted to life. After all, there is absolutely no sunlight and oxygen. But this is not so – a huge number of organisms live in the soil. They are attracted by the rich mineral and organic composition of the soil – it is a source of nutrients for its inhabitants. High moisture content makes the soil look like an aquatic environment. Temperature fluctuations in the soil are very weakly expressed layer from layer – this is also comfortable for life. Yes, there is really very little oxygen and a lot of carbon dioxide in the soil. But, the presence of cavities and passages smoothes this situation and animals (moles) adapt to life underground.
