What are the main atmospheric fronts called and where are they located?

Air masses in the atmosphere are constantly circulating. Transition zones where air masses with different properties meet, atmospheric fronts are called in. The fronts that run between the main air masses bear the same name – the main atmospheric fronts. These include:
1. Arctic (Antarctic) front. The front runs between arctic and temperate air masses.
2. Polar front or front of temperate latitudes. Separates temperate air masses and air of tropical latitudes.
3. A tropical (intertropical) front is a zone between tropical and equatorial air masses.
