What are the main climatic zones you know?

The surface of our planet is divided into six main climatic zones, five of which occur twice: once in the Northern and Southern hemispheres, respectively. The equatorial climate zone, which is the wettest, stretches along the equator. To the north and south of it, subequatorial, tropical (hottest), subtropical and temperate zones replace each other. In the extreme south and north of the planet, the polar belts stretch, which are the coldest on Earth.
