What are the main demands of the Athenian demos?

The main requirements of the Athenian demos in the 7-6th century was the opportunity to participate in the political life of the country. Initially, the people of Athens were dependent on their aristocratic elite, which was constantly in conflict with each other. All this was well known to the famous reformer Solon. It was he who, at the beginning of the 6th century – 594, abolished debt slavery and freed all representatives of Athens from this situation, forbidding this in the future. Next, a ranking of the society was created based on income. After that, even fetas could participate in the social life of the polis.
