What are the main differences between amphibians and fish?

Amphibians have a number of internal and external adaptations to life both in water and on land. They mainly live near water bodies, since they still depend on water as a habitat. Fish have adaptations only to life in water. They have gills, fins, scales, mucus, and other devices. Amphibians have respiratory organs for the terrestrial air environment, they have limbs for movement on the ground. Examples of amphibians are frogs, crocodiles, lizards, and many other representatives of the animal kingdom.
