What are the main features of the nature of the Far East?

The Far Eastern region has a unique location on the mainland and special natural conditions. This is due to the fact that it is subject to monsoon winds blowing from the Pacific Ocean, thanks to which it is warmer here than in similar parts of Asia. Therefore, instead of steppe zones, which are characteristic of Central Asia, broad-leaved forests grow in the Far East. The tundra zone is also found at more southern latitudes than usual. Favorable conditions have led to the fact that there are many endemic plants and animals in the region.
