What are the main features of the structure of the surface of Africa?

African relief is divided into two parts: low in the north and west, high in the east and south. The relief is dominated by plateaus, plains with a height of 200 – 1000 m, elevated areas of this continent alternate with hollows. The highest parts of Africa are the Ethiopian Highlands, as well as the Drakensberg Mountains.
