What are the main goals of the industrialization policy?

Industrialization was carried out in order to modernize production in the country, industry, to bring the USSR to a new level of development. Industrialization was ensured through collectivization. Industrialization was carried out in five years. The task of the first five-year plan was to build new enterprises (work went on in quantity), the task of the second five-year plan was to train skilled workers. The third five-year plan did not have time to begin, since in 1941 Germany attacked the USSR. As a result, the third five-year plan was aimed at restoring the country’s industry, which began in 1945.
