What are the most important consequences of the Industrial Revolution, and why?

The industrial revolution (aka industrial revolution) is a term denoting the transfer of production from manual labor to machine labor. The first power in which this process ended was Great Britain. The main result of the industrial revolution was the emergence of a new socio-political system – the capitalist one. The industrial revolution contributed to the modernization of production processes, the introduction of machines into circulation, which greatly facilitated the work of ordinary workers in factories and factories, and significantly increased the level of labor productivity. In the “era of steam and iron”, a number of major scientific and technical discoveries were made (electricity, motor ship, etc.). The main social result of this process was the formation of two completely new classes – the proletariat and the bourgeoisie.
