The circulatory system is formed by two circles: small and large. The large one departs from the left ventricle and passing through the arteries and capillaries (through which arterial blood flows), venules and veins (through which venous blood passes) of all organs of the body enters the right atrium. The small one begins in the right ventricle and follows the pulmonary artery into the lungs (while the blood in it is venous), and then, through the pulmonary vein (with arterial blood) it passes into the left atrium.
