Ancient Greek poets who wrote plays for the theater:
Athens Thespis, wrote a tragedy for the theater in 334 BC. 334 BC
Very interesting poets: Aeschylus and Sophocles, each of them wrote about a hundred works, but only seven have survived, but from Euripides we have as many as nineteen. Out of about a hundred.
Nevertheless, quite a few fragments of the plays have survived.
The very first satirical dramas were written by Pratin, who lived in the Northern Peloponnese at the end of the sixth century BC.
