What are the objectives of the subject Cytology?

Cytology is the science of the cell, its structure and vital processes. The cell is the smallest living part of any organism. And all processes of metabolism and energy occur at the level of the cell. Therefore, it is important to know its composition, structure, functions that are performed by its organelles. To know the regularities of the processes occurring in the cell: synthesis of the decay of substances, reproduction and transmission of hereditary information, adaptation to changing conditions. These are the goals of this science.
