What are the reasons for the establishment of the personality cult of Stalin?

The reasons for establishing a personality cult are simple. This is greed, the thirst for absolute power in the USSR and the fear of being overthrown and killed. Much similarity can be found between the cult of personality and the glorification of the Egyptian pharaohs. The difference is that the pharaoh himself called himself the son of RA, using beliefs and religion. Stalin called himself father and teacher, using all available means of propaganda for this. Under the guise of a father and a teacher, a criminal was hiding, who killed millions of citizens to maintain power. All the comrades-in-arms who helped Stalin to gain power were destroyed. Hitler did exactly the same with his associates. North Korea is a prime example of such a cult today.
