What are the reasons for the gender disparity in the population of Russia?

What are the reasons for the gender disparity in the population of Russia? (53% women, 47% men)? Name the factors affecting life expectancy.

The sex structure of the population of Russia is dominated by women. This imbalance developed during the Great Patriotic War, when the country lost most of its male population. On the age and sex pyramid, this was reflected in the form of a huge demographic hole, which manifests itself in decades. But this is not the only reason for the disparities. Since a significant part of the Russian population lives below the poverty line, people lead an unhealthy lifestyle, have poor working conditions, and do not have the opportunity to eat well and receive high-quality medical care. The female body tolerates stress more easily, therefore, there are fewer smokers, alcoholics and drug addiction among women. Women are more interested in and take care of their health. Working conditions for women are on average more favorable than for men. For example, professions of a miner, pilot, machinist, etc. are traditionally dangerous. For these reasons, there are more women in older ages than men.

One of the components of a person's success in our time is receiving modern high-quality education, mastering the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for life in society. A person today needs to study almost all his life, mastering everything new and new, acquiring the necessary professional qualities.
