What are the reasons for the rapprochement between the Soviet Union and Germany?

The rapprochement between the Soviet state and Germany manifested itself in several sectors at once. One of them was the economic sector. The union provided the Nazi government with raw materials, and the latter provided the Bolsheviks with weapons and various technical innovations. Also, the Union and Germany collaborated politically: for example, the partition of Poland clearly showed the then Europe that these two states were redrawing the map according to their political interests, especially in order to avoid a large-scale conflict.
