What are the reasons for the victories of the Hussites over the armies of the Crusaders?

The Hussite movement took place in the Czech Republic in the 14-15th centuries and was caused by the discontent of the population with the power of the German rulers and the oppression by the Catholic Church. Therefore, the Hussite movement can be called both national liberation and religious at the same time.

The Hussites stopped the deadly frontal attack of the knightly army of the Crusaders on the built barricades, used the relief, ditches and shot them with crossbows and firearms, pulled them off their horses, stabbed them with pikes and halberds.
