What are the seven wonders of the world and what role metals played in their creation.

When creating or directly in the construction of the seven wonders of the world, certain metals were used, namely:
1) Pyramid of Cheops – during its construction, tools made of copper (Cu) were used;
2) Hanging Gardens of Babylon – lead (Pb) was used in the manufacture of mountings for them;
3) Temple of Artemis in Ephesus – the interior was decorated with gold (Au), part of the statue of Artemis was also made of gold;
4) Statue of Zeus in Olympia – Zeus’s cloak was made of gold (Au);
5) Mausoleum at Halicarnassus – gold (Au) and silver (Ag) were used to decorate the burial structure;
6) Lighthouse of Alexandria – the domes of the lighthouse were decorated with bronze (copper alloy – Cu);
7) The Colossus of Rhodes – the base of the statue was an iron (Fe) frame, the top was covered with bronze (copper alloy – Cu) sheets.
