What are the similarities and differences between a crab and a cockroach?

The crab and the cockroach have several similarities – both of these species have legs, divided into segments and chitinous integuments. They also have a similar body structure – the cephalothorax and abdomen. They have much more differences: they have different habitats (crabs live mainly in water, and cockroaches on land). Cockroaches have 3 pairs of legs, crabs have 5. Cockroaches are practically omnivorous, and crabs are scavengers.
