What are the similarities and differences between a lizard and a newt?

At first glance, these two animals are very similar, but in reality they are not.
Lizards represent reptiles and the newt is an amphibian. The skin of lizards is covered with special scales, while in newts it is smooth and has mucus. A characteristic feature of lizards is that at the moment of danger they can “throw off” their tail. The respiration of lizards is represented by the bronchi and lungs. Newts have gills, lungs, and cutaneous respiration.
The circulatory system is identical: the heart, consisting of 3 chambers, 2 circles of blood circulation. Both animals are cold-blooded.
The excretory system is similar, but in newts, the skin performs an excretory function, in contrast to lizards.
Fertilization occurs internally in lizards, while external fertilization occurs in newts.
