What are the similarities and differences between ferns and rose hips?

Let’s start with the similarities. Firstly, both the dog rose and the fern belong to the highest spore plants. Secondly, both of them are characterized by the process of photosynthesis, moreover, both of them are producers in biogeocenoses. Also, for fertilization, both the fern and the dog rose need a drop-liquid medium.

Now let’s move on to the differences between these plants. Rosehip has a summer shoot (vegetative) and spring (spore-bearing), while the fern has large dissected leaves (frond). Fern and rose hips also differ in the structure of the gametophyte: in ferns it is bisexual, and in wild rose it is dioecious.
