What are the similarities and differences between the cells of unicellular and multicellular organisms?

The cells of all living organisms have a common structural plan. Their main parts are the membrane and cytoplasm. Hereditary information is stored in DNA molecules (in prokaryotes in the nucleoid – one circular chromosome, and in eukaryotes – in the chromosomes of the nucleus). The cytoplasm contains organelles that perform the same functions.
The differences are as follows: in unicellular organisms, the cell is also an organism, while in multicellular organisms, the cells are differentiated and perform a certain function, therefore they are interconnected.
