What are the similarities and differences between the law of universal gravitation and Coulomb’s law?

The similarity of the laws is expressed in the fact that both laws determine the strength of the interaction between bodies. Both laws determine that the force of interaction is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between bodies. At the same time, mathematically, these models look very similar.
The difference is that the law of universal gravitation is applicable for interacting bodies considered within the framework of classical mechanics and the main parameters are the masses of the bodies under consideration. Coulomb’s law is applicable to determine the interaction of bodies that are characterized by the presence of an electric charge and is used in electrodynamics. It should also be said that when considering the forces of interaction of charged bodies, the forces of interaction, determined by the law of universal gravitation, are usually negligible.
