Arctic deserts and deserts of hot countries are similar in that there are almost no animals and vegetation. But the climate in them is completely different. In tropical deserts, the climate is hot, and there is no life due to the lack of water. In the Arctic and Antarctic, the climate is very cold, usually a lot of snow and ice, although there is usually no liquid water either.
