What are the similarities and differences in the life cycles of flat and round worms?

It is impossible to compare the life cycle of two large groups of animals at once – flat and round worms. Since some types of flat and round worms live in the organismic environment, that is, they are parasites. Some species are free-living. Because of this, there are many differences. For example, worms living in the organismic environment are mainly hermaphrodites and lay a large number of eggs. Free-living worms do not have such a need, since their lives do not depend on getting into a foreign organism.
