What are the similarities between Hercules and Odysseus?

Hercules and Odysseus are not so much alike, but they are. First of all, these are the tests that fate has in store for them. Both heroes passed these tests as well as possible, for which they were generously rewarded by the Gods. For their perseverance, for their efforts, both Hercules and Odysseus received what they dreamed of.

Hence the second similarity follows – a happy ending. Hercules’ desire to surpass all mortals led him to Olympus. And the dream of Odysseus helped to overcome all difficulties and overcome all obstacles.
