What are the solutions according to the state of aggregation? Give examples.

A solution is a homogeneous mixture consisting of particles of a solute and a solvent, if the solvent enters into a chemical reaction with the solute, then the products of their reaction will be present in the solution. The solution can be liquid, solid and gaseous. Here are some examples: liquid solution – a solution of sodium chloride (NaCl) in water; solid solution – an alloy of metals, for example, brass – an alloy of copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn); gaseous solution – air – a mixture of gases, oxygen (O2), carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen (N2), argon (Ar), helium (He), krypton (Kr).
