Bacteria are divided into beneficial and harmful. Bacteria useful for humans:

2) are used to obtain antibiotics, cheeses, enzymes, amino acids.
And harmful bacteria:
1) cause diseases (tonsillitis, tuberculosis, typhus, tetanus, anthrax, etc.)
2) cause food spoilage
3) spoil hay, books, wood products
