What attracted the poor, slaves and other disadvantaged people to the Christian religion?

Almost all religions of the world said that it is necessary to make generous donations to temples so that the gods would be merciful to you. The Christian religion only demanded that a person follow the Covenants. After all, it doesn’t matter if a person has wealth, everyone is equal in the face of God. Christianity also called for renouncing wealth, which in turn attracted the poor and the disadvantaged. And most importantly, Christianity offered salvation to everyone who believes, be it a poor man, a rich man, or even a slave.
