What bad character traits did Julius Caesar have?

Julius Caesar was a man of genius, a true strategist and commander. His genius helped Julius become emperor, and his oratorical skills forced the people to go to the death for him. But where there are strengths, there are also weaknesses. One of the bad character traits of Julius is his self-confidence, he did not listen to the advisers who said to kill Brutus and Cicero, for their betrayal, and this played a disservice for him. Caesar’s mercy and naivete led to his death, at the hands of those whom Julius confided in.
