What benefits did the Greeks get from using slave labor?

As we know, slave labor existed in ancient Greece. In those days, it was possible to become a slave because of debts, crime or by war captivity, that is, during hostilities, part of the population could fall into slavery. So the most difficult work fell on the shoulders of the slaves: building houses, roads, working in the fields, as well as working as servants in the homes of the rich.
