What branches of science have been booming in India?

Ancient India was famous for its scientists, who specialized primarily in the exact and natural sciences. So, the Hindus already knew that the Earth revolves around the Sun and studied the stars. Mathematicians from this country came up with the number zero, thanks to which the modern decimal system of calculations appeared.

Also in ancient India, philosophy was well developed. This was due to the religious characteristics of the country. Thanks to Hinduism, many philosophical schools were formed, which still continue to exist.
