What cells and how many are formed as a result of mitosis?

Mitosis is the division of the mother cell, in which two cells (daughter) are formed with a 2n set of chromosomes. It (mitosis) is inherent in all types of tissues and for all organisms, due to it, the renewal of cells is carried out during their aging. Mitosis is the basis for asexual increase in the number of organisms. The division has four phases: pro, meta, ana and telophase. The interval between divisions in a cell’s life cycle is called interphase.
