What changes have occurred in the slogan of the French Revolution after Napoleon came to power?

Initially, the slogan sounded like this: “Freedom, equality and brotherhood!” After that, the word “brotherhood” was replaced by the word “property”.

This replacement can be explained by the fact that the policy of Napoleon Bonaparte’s reign was imperialist. Napoleon vehemently defended the redistribution of property that took place in the year of the French Revolution, in particular for the bourgeoisie. In addition, he actively encouraged entrepreneurship in the country, contributed to the provision of lucrative government orders to representatives of the big bourgeoisie.
